Our sourcing network includes a diverse range of suppliers from private forest owners and local businesses to large international corporations that represent various cultural backgrounds.
We are committed to ensuring that all our suppliers operate responsibly and fully comply with our high ethical, social and environmental standards. We utilize supplier monitoring, assessments and audits to evaluate financial stability, quality, supply chain risks and potential human rights and environmental impacts in our supply chains. If a non-conformity is found, the supplier must take immediate corrective action. We actively follow up and share our expertise and tools to support our suppliers’ improvement. However, if corrective measures are insufficient or ignored, we may be compelled to discontinue the partnership.
We identify suppliers that are critical to our operations, and the supply chains that constitute high sustainability risks. Business continuity plans are implemented with critical suppliers, while risk mitigation plans are carried out in high sustainability risk supply chains. We seek close collaboration and partnerships with our suppliers, engaging in joint development plans to promote performance and sustainability in our supply chains.
We provide regular training on supply chain sustainability topics and processes to our sourcing experts. We also annually evaluate our internal stakeholders’ satisfaction with our key suppliers and their responsibility track record.
