Spring idea competition
Spring idea competition is an idea competition for 15-19 year-olds, run by the Children and Youth Foundation. Each year, over 20,000 young people learn to generate ideas and change the world. Teams of 3-5 enter with ideas that give hope for the future, whether tackling global challenges, local issues, or creating new opportunities. The top prize includes a summer job and a study trip abroad to develop their idea further. UPM has supported the Children and Youth Foundation through various youth-related initiatives for several years. As part of this collaboration, UPM contributes its own challenge to the competition, the UPM Challenge, which invites young people to reflect on the role of companies in a changing world.
