Guarantees of Origin
Guarantees of Origin (GOs) for electricity are certificates that can be used to verify that electricity has been produced from specific (e.g., renewable) energy sources.
Comment: they are defined by the EU Directive 2009/28/EC, which establishes common rules and targets for the development of renewable energy across all sectors of the economy in the European Union.
