Carbon storage (product)
Carbon dioxide captured and stored in a product as carbon. For example, trees capture carbon dioxide from the atmosphere via photosynthesis, oxygen is released, and carbon is stored in tree biomass. This carbon is further stored in harvested wood products.
Comment: carbon storage in products will be variable in terms of timeframes, based on the specific product. For example, a pulp-based produced will generally store carbon for a much shorter timeframe than a timber product.
