UPM finance operations have been developed and reorganised in recent years from delivering transactional services into creating value to UPM's businesses. This was achieved by improving cost efficiency, scalability of the services, and capabilities of the organisation and employees.
“These initiatives have been very successful, and we are now in a position where we can take the next step to focus on quality on our way towards the world-class finance,” says Maria Kortene, Vice President, Group Finance and Record to Report, UPM.
“To reach our targets, we are now looking for new talents to make us even more professional, versatile, collaborative, and dynamic,” Kortene continues. Many open positions cover different levels of organisation, for example Finance Director Record to Report, Manager Business Analysis, Financial Controller and Payables Controller. Jobs are mainly located in Tampere and Helsinki.
