(UPM Raflatac, Tampere, 22 April 2010) – UPM Raflatac RFID Business Area has concluded the employee negotiations started in February.
In accordance with the plan communicated in February, UPM Raflatac will relocate new product piloting from Jyväskylä, Finland, into its volume factories and closer to fastest growing markets in Guangzhou, China and Fletcher, North Carolina in the USA.
As a result of the negotiations, the number of employees in Jyväskylä will decrease by 16 persons, and 16 people will continue to work for RFID Business Area in Jyväskylä. The actions are estimated to be completed by the end of 2010.
