UPM Kaukas awarded with Ikea’s Tulip Award

​(UPM Paper ENA, 8 October 2014) - UPM Kaukas mill in Lappeenranta, Finland, has received Ikea’s Tulip Award in the second consecutive year for its sustainable performance. Since two years the world’s largest furniture retailer Ikea has granted a Tulip Award in the category sustainability.

“Paper is a true Biofore product. It is made from renewable and recyclable materials in production facilities with outstanding environmental results like our UPM Kaukas mill. UPM’s high performance paper products are the result of efficient practices and continuous improvement.
