(UPM, Helsinki, 12 June 2014 at 15:00 EET) – UPM Fray Bentos pulp mill has complied with all requirements set forth by the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Land Planning of Uruguay and therefore has been authorised to increase its production level to meet the mill capacity as per the company's request in 2011.
This resolution supports UPM Pulp Business to grow according to their customer needs. It also benefits the growth and development of Uruguay’s forest sector.
