Norges Bank’s holding in UPM has gone above the threshold of 5 per cent

UPM-Kymmene Corporation (Business ID 1041090-0) has on 15 April 2013 received an announcement under Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Securities Markets Act, according to which Norges Bank’s (The Central Bank of Norway) holding in UPM has exceeded the threshold of 5 per cent on 12 April 2013 after a share lending transaction where Norges Bank is the lender.

According to the announcement, Norges Bank’s holding in UPM has increased from 9,180,425 shares to 28,497,564 shares, corresponding to 5.40 per cent of UPM's shares and voting rights.
