UPM-Kymmene Corporation (Business ID 1041090-0) has on 28 November 2012 received an announcement under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Market Act, according to which BlackRock Inc.’s indirect holding in UPM has exceeded the threshold of 5 per cent on 27 November 2012.

According to the announcement, the indirect holding of BlackRock Inc. (USA Tax ID 32-0174421, SEK CIK Code#: 0001364742) in UPM has increased from 26,285,323 shares to 26,367,584 shares, corresponding to 5.015 per cent of UPM's shares and voting rights.
