(UPM ProFi, Lahti, 23 March 2012 at 13 EET) UPM ProFi is supporting British design company Tom Dixon at MOST, during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan in April.

MOST is an epicentre for the freshest ideas in communication, food, culture, design and the digital industrial revolution curated by Tom Dixon for Milan Design week 2012. MOST will turn the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan into an ambitious environment for innovation and culture.

As part of the MOST exhibition, Tom Dixon will present ‘Luminosity’ -a showcase where the company has used UPM ProFi Deck and UPM ProFi Facade wood plastic composite to create imaginative spaces incorporating new Tom Dixon lighting.

UPM ProFi Deck and UPM ProFi Facade can be seen from the 17th – 22nd April at MOST in Salone Internazionale del Mobile. The venue is the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan.

This is the second such partnership between UPM and Tom Dixon. In 2011, UPM collaborated on the Tom Dixon book Extremism published to promote thinking on design and materials.

Previously UPM ProFi has co-operated with the famous architect Shigeru Ban and the Finnish design company Artek and been involved with the Finnish Pavilion at the World Expo in China during 2010 as well as many other design projects worldwide.
