(UPM, Lahti, Finland, 21 September, 2010 at 10:00 EET) – UPM exhibits new WISA plywood innovations at IAA Commercial Vehicles September 23-30, 2010. At the show, UPM introduces several new plywood solutions for trailer flooring, soundproofing in buses and linings and floorings for vans.

UPM's main release in this year's IAA is a new trailer flooring innovation, WISA Bonded Floor Solution, featuring a new way of bonding the plywood floor to the trailer chassis instead of fixing it mechanically using screws. The new solution offers cost savings, added structural rigidity, less corrosion problems and much more compared to conventional flooring.

In addition, UPM will present new concept products for buses and vans. New WISA-Silence concept product is aimed at providing a better soundproofing solution for the bus industry.
For van linings and floorings UPM is introducing an environmentally friendly product concept combining plywood and wood plastic composite. This concept presents WISA birch or spruce plywood or spruce veneer coated with UPM ProFi wood plastic composite, which is made of UPM's own label stock manufacturing surplus.

The new WISA innovations along with other plywood products for trucks, trailers, vans and buses will be presented at IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hanover, Germany during 23-30 September, 2010. UPM's stand will be located in Hall 27, Stand C07.
