Co-operation with suppliers is the basis of a responsible supply chain
Become a supplier
Please find more information on how to become a supplier in the sections below:
We aim to ensure that suppliers provide responsibly produced, cost-competitive and innovative materials and services for our business units globally — in all market situations.
When evaluating suppliers, we follow a clearly defined selection and follow-up process.
Strategic fit, service range, product performance, quality and sustainability are among our key credentials. Our sourcing process consists of following steps:

We expect all suppliers to quote in good faith on items requested in the tender. Quotation does not in any way obligate us or commit us to award the contract to the supplier.
We are committed to responsible business conduct. We never compromise our standards of integrity under any circumstances, and we expect the same of our suppliers, and have outlined our minimum expectations into UPM Supplier and Third Party Code. See the Requirements section for more information.
UPM Supplier and Third Party Code describes our minimum requirements to all of our suppliers and third party intermediaries. In addition to the code there are some area specific requirements.
Please see more details on our Requirements page. Note that as part of the qualification process you will be requested to state your compliance with our requirements.
UPM uses a sourcing solution called Scanmarket to manage its sourcing activities. New suppliers can self-register by answering our questionnaire in the solution. The questionnaire consists of basic contact details and the UPM Supplier and Third Party Code and area specific questions (preview of questionnaire).
If you have technical problems with login or self-registration, please contact Scanmarket Quick Call. Please enter your name and phone number and Scanmarket will call you as soon as possible.
