The Biofore Gallery product exhibition at PulPaper 2018
Our product exhibition at PulPaper 2018 showcases both the latest innovations and the more traditional forest industry products on which our innovations are built on. You can find us at stand 6e90!
UPM GrowDex and UPM BioVerno are among the most interesting products on display at PulPaper. UPM GrowDex™ cell culture platform is a UPM Biochemicals innovation. It is used as a platform for cell culturing, but it has great potential as a cell barrier, drug delivery vehicle, in Organ-on-a-Chip models and in 3D printing! It’s animal free, biocompatible, room-temperature stable and has a tunable viscosity. How impressive!
GrowDex is constantly evolving and new applications pop up along the way. If you want to keep up to date on what’s going on with the innovation, sign up for the GrowDex newsletter!

When the now patented refining concept converting tall oil into renewable diesel was finally found after several years of R&D work at the UPM Lappeenranta Research Centre, it produced excellent test results from the very first test runs."
