APM™ Advanced Patching Material

Advanced Patching Material is a new generation of patching material that
is environmentally friendly. APM is water activated and quickly sets up like hot mix.
APM is ideal for seal coaters and street maintenance crews who need to make pavement
repairs and seal coat over them quickly.

Features
• Ready to use right from the container with no mixing needed.

• In 45 minutes or less APM sets up hard like hot mix (Marshall Load Value of 15.8kn @ 77°F).

• Can be driven over right away aftercompacting, providing minimal disruption of traffic.

• After 45 minutes curing time, the patch can be sealed over.

• All weather application.

• No special or expensive equipment required.

• Environmentally friendly, no VOCs or toxins.

Directions

    1. Sweep out all loose debris and standing water from the area to be repaired.

    2. If dry, dampen the hole’s edges for maximum bond to existing pavement.

    3. Apply APM with a shovel or pour into hole directly from the container.

    4. Sprinkle approximately 1 quart of water to activate. Mix slightly to
         make sure the water covers all of the material.

     5. Level with rake or trowel.

     6. Compact to a smooth finish with a hand tamper, vibrating plate, or hand roller.

     7. Sealers may be applied after APM hardens (45 minutes).

    Note: Compacted APM repairs can be driven over immediately.
      Under extremely cold temperatures final set up may take up to an hour.

    Cleanup & Safety
       • Gloves should be worn avoiding contact with skin. Remove material
          from skin with vegetable oil or butter.

        • In the event of contact with eyes, contact a physician immediately.

        • Tools may be cleaned with a light oil (vegetable).

      Recommended Storage
        • Store indoors in cool, dry area. Avoid direct sunlight or exposure to freezing temperatures.

         • The inner seal must not be broken until ready to use and the container cannot be resealed
            once it has been opened, as humidity in the air will harden material over time.

         Each 5-gallon pail covers approximately 5 square feet at 1” deep. APM is a registered
