UPM aims to continuously reduce the environmental impact over the whole lifecycle of its products. We provide a wide range of innovative solutions. Our products are recyclable, biodegradable and produced using bioenergy wherever possible.
Environmental labels help customers in making their choices. UPM offers a high share of independently-certified products to its customers worldwide. We are the largest producer of graphic and copying papers to have been awarded the EU Eco-Label.

• Environmental Management Systems certified in 100 % of production units
• Environmental declarations for 100 % of product groups
• 25% growth in the share of eco-labelled products* (from 2008-2020)
