	​New oxygen delignification improves operating efficiency UPM’s Kymi pulp mill in Finland has renewed its hardwood pulp production line with an oxygen delignification stage and improving washing of unbleached pulp. The renewal saves raw materials and chemicals in the production and decreases the pulp mill’s waste water emissions. Read more >>
	​Encouraging women entrepreneurship Since 2011, UPM supports the project for the creation of a knitting enterprise, consisting of 25 women aged 40-60, in Nuevo Berlín in Uruguay.
