UPM Fibril Cellulose offers a range of possibilities for shaping materials and giving them new characteristics.

UPM Fibril Cellulose can be used as a high performance additive in e.g. paints and coatings, concrete oil drilling fluids and various other industrial applications for stabilization of particles. It forms highly viscous solutions in water offering unique functionality as a suspension aid and rheology control agent. Our customers can benefit by more cost economical formulations and/or better performing and more homogenous products.

UPM Fibril Cellulose can also be used as a reinforcement element e.g. in paper and packaging products and composite applications. UPM Fibril Cellulose can help make a product stronger, lighter or thinner, depending on the end use.

The raw material of UPM Fibril Cellulose is wood, a natural and renewable resource from sustainably managed forests. The product often offers a more environmental friendly solution to traditionally used alternatives.
