Pulp

​UPM produces bleached hardwood kraft pulp (BHKP) from birch in Finland and from eucalyptus in Uruguay.

UPM Betula

UPM Betula is made from birch. It is used for packaging and cardboard, speciality paper and printing and writing applications. Birch fibres provide good strength, structure and surface properties.

UPM Euca

UPM Euca is made from eucalyptus. It is especially suitable for printing and writing papers and tissues. For printing and writing end-uses, eucalyptus fibres provide good surface and optical properties. For tissues eucalyptus fibres provide softness and smoothness.
