Our program is targeted for 3+ year-students in a university or a university of applied sciences who are interested in widening their perspective by working abroad. We have open internships for Finnish students at UPM's locations in Austria, China, Germany, UK and Uruguay and for non-Finnish students in Finland.
As a UPM intern you'll have a great opportunity to work in a truly international company. Traineeship is an excellent way to learn to know UPM and a stepping-stone for a potential career with us. Last year most of our trainees had their own project work or a study related to the operations in the site.
The UPM Bioforce trainee program was initiated in 2011 when UPM’s President and CEO Jussi Pesonen established a fund on his 50th anniversary to support international exchange of the Paper Engineers’ Association’s (PI) student members.
