Our program is targeted for 3+ year-students in a university or a university of applied sciences who are interested in widening the perspective by working abroad. We have open internships at UPM's locations in Finland.
As a UPM intern you'll have a great opportunity to work in a truly international company. Traineeship is an excellent way to learn to know UPM and a stepping-stone for a potential career with us. Last year most of our trainees had their own project work or a study related to the operations in the site.
The UPM Bioforce trainee program was initiated in 2011. UPM’s President and CEO Jussi Pesonen established a fund on his 50th anniversary to support international exchange of the Paper Engineers’ Association’s (PI) student members.
