Pulp sales and marketing

 

UPM Pulp business area operates as both a seller and a buyer of pulp. UPM is continuously increasing its market presence and aims to be a reliable pulp supplier for
customers in wide range of the growing end-use areas including tissue, packaging, speciality papers and printing and writing papers.

In 2011, UPM sold a total of 2,992,000 tonnes of pulp out of which about 890,000 tonnes to external customers in all end-use segments of the market in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
