"Through Biofore Magazine we can bring forward actions that support innovations and resource efficiency in the bio and forest industry, and introduce new opportunities. We will also discuss interesting social topics," says Elisa Nilsson, UPM's Vice President, Brand and Communications.The merging of the bio and forest industries and the development of innovations provide new opportunities to create and launch renewable, energy- and resource-efficient materials and solutions that may even have global impacts. The first issue of the magazine will cover in detail the potential biofuels offer and the topic of resource-efficient business. The magazine introduces UPM's products, solutions and operations through several examples — it provides a look into the wood-based renewable diesel UPM BioVerno, the Biofore Concept Car and its success at the Geneva Motor Show, the Asian pulp market, and the material that was used in building the foundation of the modern bridges in Istanbul.A printed version of the magazine is published three times a year in Finnish, English, German and Chinese. A digital version of the magazine is also available.
