BlackRock’s holding in UPM has gone above the threshold of 5 per cent

UPM-Kymmene Corporation (Business ID 1041090-0) has on 19 June 2013 received an announcement under Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Securities Markets Act, according to which BlackRock, Inc.’s indirect holding in UPM has gone above the threshold of 5 per cent on 18 June 2013.

According to the announcement, the indirect holding of BlackRock, Inc. (USA Tax ID 32-0174421, SEC CIK Code#: 0001364742) in UPM has increased from 26,034,611 shares to 26,497,475 shares, corresponding to 5.017 per cent of UPM's shares and voting rights.
